Bethel Park sends 10 athletes to WPIAL track and field championships

Ten Bethel Park track and field athletes have qualified for the WPIAL Championships on May 14 at Slippery Rock University, led by standouts such as record-breaking pole vaulter Brady McCarthy, top-five WPIAL hurdler Autumn Flowers, freshman sensation Taylor Bruckner, and several others who have excelled in their events throughout the season.

Bethel Park indoor track & field team caps record season with national performances

The Bethel Park indoor track and field team capped a standout season with record-setting performances at the state and national levels, including a school-record 11 athletes competing at the Adidas National Championships. The Hawks earned multiple top-10 national finishes, set school records, and showcased both strong senior leadership and promising young talent under retiring coach Scott Staranko.

New wave of players out to uphold Bethel Park baseball tradition

Bethel Park’s baseball program has been one of the WPIAL’s most consistent powers since 2021, compiling a 97-28-1 record with two state championships, multiple deep playoff runs and four section titles. Entering 2026 after significant graduation losses, the Black Hawks will rely on a junior-heavy roster and a strong returning core to continue their tradition of success.

Led by double gold from Jackson Edwards, Bethel Park boys shine at WPIAL swim meet

A Bethel Park junior led the way at the WPIAL Class 3A championships, capturing titles in the 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard backstroke with standout times while also helping set a school record and earn All-American recognition. His performance, along with strong relay and individual contributions across the lineup, powered the Black Hawks to a fifth-place team finish and highlighted the program’s promising future.
