Bethel Park DECA Members Excel at State Conference, 16 Qualify for International Event

Seventy-five Bethel Park High School DECA members competed at the 2025 Pennsylvania DECA State Career Development Conference, held Feb. 18-21 in Hershey. Thirty-nine students were recognized on stage, with 16 qualifying for the DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC), scheduled for April 25-30 in Orlando, Florida.

Bethel Park's Walsh Appears on ABC's "Good Morning America"

Bethel Park senior Lyla Walsh was featured on ABC's "Good Morning America" to celebrate National Girl Scout Day. She earned the prestigious Girl Scout Gold Award for organizing a Girls in Engineering Camp that inspired young girls to explore engineering. Lyla’s achievement was highlighted alongside other impressive stories from girls across the country.

Four BPHS Students Earn Top of the Shop Honors

Four Bethel Park High School students were named Top of the Shop winners at the Steel Center for Career and Technology Education for the first semester of the 2024-25 school year. Honorees include seniors Adam Lackey, Matthew Yee, and Violet Puskar, along with junior Casimir Spano. The award recognizes outstanding conduct, work ethic, attendance, and coursework proficiency.

Five BPHS Students Earn Extra Effort Awards

Five Bethel Park High School students were named Extra Effort Award winners at the Steel Center for Career and Technology Education for the first semester of the 2024-25 school year. Seniors Gabriella Balkovec (Cosmetology) and Lily Janus (Veterinary Assistant) earned the honor for the second time. The award recognizes students for outstanding attitude, work ethic, attendance, and dependability.

IMS Names March 2025 Students of the Month

Independence Middle School recognized ten students as Students of the Month for their academic excellence, leadership, and positive contributions to the school community.
