As winter approaches, Bethel Park School District urges families to update their contact information to receive timely weather-related alerts via Focus, ParentSquare, social media, and local news. In severe weather, the district may hold Remote Learning Days on a modified two-hour delay schedule, with students expected to complete assignments and notify teachers of any connectivity issues.
Ben Franklin fourth graders soar to victory in annual "Pumpkin Chunkin’" contest
Fourth graders at Ben Franklin Elementary competed in the annual "Pumpkin Chunkin’" contest, launching candy corn pumpkins with homemade, desk-sized launchers built from recycled materials. Colin won with a 161-foot launch, followed by Austin, Luca, and Coen, and each winner received a prize from the school's PTO.
