GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Please review the following information, directions, and expectations carefully.
Your submittal of a Facility Use Request acknowledges that you have read and understand all of the information outlined within the application and Bethel Park School Board Policy No. 707 - Use of School Facilities and your agreement to comply with all terms expressed therein. Approval of the application is contingent upon your organization's agreement to and compliance with that policy.

  • The scheduling priority is activities and events sponsored by the Bethel Park School District. BPSD reserves the right to move or terminate an event requested by an outside group, without liability, if a Bethel Park-sponsored event requires the use of the requested building /facility on the requested date/time, if inclement weather strikes, or if there is another emergency. If school is canceled during inclement weather, all district facilities will be closed, and access will not be permitted.

  • Bethel Park cannot guarantee the availability of the equipment requested. Your organization may not bring additional equipment onto district property unless it identifies and approves it in advance as part of your application.

  • Depending upon the size and nature of your event, the district may, at its discretion, assign one or more representatives to serve as its on-site event manager(s) for your requested function. The assignment of a BPSD event manager(s) may be required in addition to or in place of other Bethel Park personnel. You are responsible for payment of the applicable staffing fee for any BPSD personnel assigned to your function, as outlined in the facility use fee schedule.

  • POSSESSION OR USE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND TOBACCO PRODUCTS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED ON ALL BETHEL PARK SCHOOL DISTRICT PROPERTY AT ALL TIMES.

  • If applicable, you must complete all Use of Facility Application sections and provide all requested information, including riders, indemnification, or insurance forms. Failure to provide any of the requested information will result in the denial of or delayed application processing.

  • Facility Use Requests must be submitted at least forty-five (45) calendar days before the requested event, and auditorium requests must be submitted at least sixty (60) days in advance.

  • Bethel Park cannot consider requests to use our facilities on dates during the school year until after the school calendar and school district athletic schedules are finalized. As a result, BPSD will generally not be able to consider requests for dates during the school year until forty-five (45) days before the start of the school year.
