The Bethel Park Education Foundation's Innovation Grant has expanded creative opportunities at Independence Middle School's Innovation Lab by acquiring a BambuLab multicolor 3D printer and an Automatic Material System.
The equipment enables students to explore advanced manufacturing techniques and real-world product design. One application has been the creation of monthly Student of the Month magnets, with the printer's multi-color capabilities producing professional-quality recognition items celebrating student achievement.
The grant provides students with hands-on experience with industry-relevant technology while developing skills in creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and design thinking.
