Nino Bonaccorsi (BPHS ’17), represented Pitt wrestling in the 197-pound final at the 2021 NCAA Championships last March in St. Louis.  Bonaccorsi also recently won the 92-kilogram freestyle title at the United World Wrestling Under-23 National Championships and will represent his country at the UWW U23 World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia in November.

Bonaccorsi spoke to the seniors about the transition from high school to collegiate athletics and stressed that they need to be mindful to continue to work and appreciate the opportunities that will come their way because time is fleeting.

Principal, Joe Villani also spoke to the student-athletes about their journey.

Congratulations to all of our college-bound student-athletes and good luck on the collegiate level!
