BPHS French Students Earn 25 Awards On National French Exams
The three French Exam Gold MedalistsBethel Park High School students earned 25 awards on the National French Exams or Le Grand Concours 2019, including three Gold Medals, three Silver Medals, six Bronze Medals and 13 Honorable Mentions.
Earning Gold Medals were French III sophomores Tobias Roule and Marissa Wycinsky and French II freshman Toyosi Egbebi.  They earned these medals for scoring in the 95th percentile.
Junior Caleb Shook earned a Silver Medal on the French III Exam for scoring in the 90th percentile, and freshmen Katherine Cottrill and Allison Scarlett earned a Silver Medal on the French II Exam for scoring in the 85th percentile.
Earning Bronze Medals for scoring in the 80th percentile were senior Cameron Sillman on the French V Exam; sophomore Weeam Boumaza on the French III Exam; and junior Tia Kean, sophomore Marguerite Young and freshman Sadie Fedor on the French II Exam.  Freshman Riley Hunter earned a Bronze Medal on the French II Exam for scoring in the 75th percentile.
Thirteen students were earned Honorable Mentions for scoring between the 50 and 70th percentiles: seniors Rachel Anischenko and Anton Yanovich, and juniors Madison Becker and Ruth Rubican on the French IV Exam; sophomores Madelyn Hoffmann, Abigail Phillips, Rachel Toth and Evan Zelt on the French III Exam; and senior Kobe Coleman and freshmen Megan Cunningham, Briauna Harris, Anna Rosemeier and Isabella Zallo on the French II Exam.
The students are taught by Bethel Park High School French Teachers Tracy McCoy and Rachael Smith.
