Students Are 'Mad' About Science

Twenty-three Franklin students are staying after school one day a week for five weeks to participate in a program offered by Mad Science.
Through this program, the students are exposed to elementary science concepts in an exciting way--either through hands-on experiments or eye-catching presentations.  Some of the topics the students will cover include simple machines, movies and geology/rocks.
The students enjoy the program because it's very hands-on and they have time to experiment with the different concepts each week.
