Concussion Baseline Testing Information
Concussion Testing 2
Bethel Park Athletic Department is partnering with AHN sports medicine to offer a new baseline concussion testing system through Sway. The Sway System is a research-backed assessment tool that includes a battery of balance tests, cognitive tests, symptom tracking, on-field assessments, and COVID-19 screening. Since this system utilizes an app each student-athlete will be required to download the Sway app on their phone prior to their testing session. A new or updated baseline test is strongly recommended for any student-athlete entering grades 7, 9 and 11 who participates in an at-risk sport. Those sports that fall under the classification of at-risk are:
  • Football
  • Boys/Girls Soccer
  • Boys/Girls Volleyball
  • Boys/Girls Basketball
  • Wrestling
  • Boys/Girls Diving
  • Baseball
  • Softball
  • Boys/Girls Lacrosse
  • Pole Vault
  • Cheerleading (Competition and Sideline)
We will be scheduling team appointments with the fall sports coaches. If you are still interested in receiving a baseline test and do not participate in a fall sport please visit https://calendly.com/bp-athletictraining/c3-logix-baseline-concussion-testing in order to
schedule an appointment.

Please remember that a new or updated baseline test is strongly recommended for any student-athlete entering grades 7, 9 and 11 who want to participate in at-risk sports at Bethel Park School District. All sports have the opportunity to receive a test.
