Bethel Park High School will partner with
Vitalant Pittsburgh to host its first joint blood drive of the 2022-2023 school year from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m., on Sept. 22, in the high school auditorium. The drive is open not only to students and staff, but also to the entire Bethel Park community. Visitors should enter the donation site through the clearly marked exterior doors and are encouraged to park in the visitors parking spaces adjacent to the auditorium or along Black Hawk Drive.
Anyone interested in donating blood should
complete the attached form in its entirety. Students under the age of 16 hoping to donate blood will be required to bring with them a signed parental permission. Attached is
additional information to help you prepare for your donation.
Proper dentification is required to donate blood so please bring a photo ID with you if you intend to participate. A Vitalant or high school ID, driver's license, or employee badge with picture and full name are all approved forms of identification. A birth certificate along with a picture ID that includes the donor's full name will also be accepted.
Every donation helps save lives and generates scholarship funds for Bethel Park High School students. In addition to the Sept. 22 event, BPHS has additional blood drives scheduled for Jan. 26, 2023 and April 20, 2023.
