Washington students enjoyed participating in the annual Hour of Code activities in the library with Mrs. Minella.

Hour of Code provided the students with the opportunity to try block coding on a computer.
This year Fourth Grade students participated in a Dance Party Hour of Code where they danced while they coded. It was amazing to see the students showing off their happy feet as well as their coding skills.
Computer coding helps the students to develop the critical 21st century thinking skills they will need to be successful in their careers.  Please click here to see some photos from this year's Hour of Code activities.
