William Penn students spent their final day of school before Winter Break participating in special STEAM Day activities.
Students had fun learning together in a variety of activities, including programming Bee Bots to travel a snowman-themed grid; participating in sink or float predictions and observations; reading the story, A Wish to be a Christmas Tree, and deciding whether they would like to be a Christmas tree or a tree in the forest, then decorating the tree they would like to be; and extracting iron from breakfast cereal by chopping it in a blender and using a magnet to extract the metal.
It was a great morning of learning together. Please click here
