The Bethel Park School District and Municipality (both Live Well Allegheny Partners) are co-hosting a week-long Wellness Summit at the Bethel Park Community Center (5151 Park Avenue) February 23-28 from 6 to 9 PM each evening.

The event coincides with the Recreation Department's annual Try It Week, where community members have the opportunity to try the classes offered by the Rec Department.  Last year over 500 people participated in Try It Week, and we anticipate many more this year.

Tables will be set up throughout the Community Center for organizations to provide information, conduct demonstrations and screenings, and connect the community to resources offered by these organizations and providers.  A Keynote Speaker will present nightly from 7 to 7:45 PM on different health topics.  The focus topics for each evening are:
  • Sunday: Overall Wellness
  • Monday: Nutrition
  • Tuesday: Mental Health
  • Wednesday: Physical Health
  • Thursday: Substance Abuse
  • Friday: Stress Reduction and Mindfulness
We are seeking vendors/organizations/providers to participate in this great community-wide event.  If you are interested in participating either as a table vendor or a Keynote Speaker, please click here and complete the form.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Dr. Janet O'Rourke at 412-854-8449 or orourke.janet@bphawks.org.

The event is free and open to the public.  We look forward to seeing you at the Wellness Summit!  Stay healthy, Bethel Park!
