Sixth Grader Finishes In Second Place In CalcuSolve Competition

Neil Armstrong Middle School Sixth Grader Samuel Hoppe finished in Second Place at the Middle school CalcuSolve Competition, which was held at Duquesne University on November 21.

 
This year, 332 middle school students from area middle schools participated in this event, including 12 Neil Armstrong Middle School Gifted Students.
      
Students worked together in teams of four to answer nine questions, two as a group and seven individually.
 
Also participating in the competition were Adele Stamenov, Hasini Chava, Kai Roule, T.J. Burt, Jason Koerbel, Jack Janosik, Ben Campbell, Kuon Verbosky, Riley Philage, Tyler Benlock and Caleb Crawford
