Bethel Park High School recently hosted three distinguished military guests who spoke with a small group of students who may have an interest in Military/Government jobs in Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber/National Security, Linguistics, Engineering, Internal or Foreign Affairs, etc.

The guests included Lieutenant General Laura A. Potter, the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-2, to the Pentagon.  Lt. Gen. Potter reports directly to the Chief of Staff and the Commander of the Joint Chiefs.

Also joining the groups was Major General, David C. Hill, who is the Commanding General of the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, PA

The other guest who spoke with the students was Dr. Douglas Matty, the Director of Army Artificial Intelligence Capabilities. His organization is responsible for the development, coordination, and synchronization of Artificial Intelligence capability development for the Army.  While the Task Force is overseen by the Pentagon, the operational element of the task force is located at Carnegie Mellon University's National Robotics Engineering Center, right here in Pittsburgh, and is headed up by Col. Doug Matty, Army AI TF Deputy Director.
