Mrs. Toth Is Tending Pumpkin Plants Until Spring

← Back Print This Article

Mrs. Toth is tending to the pumpkin seeds the First Graders Planted at the Fall Festival until they're ready to be planted in the spring!

Mrs. Ellison's and Mrs. Walsh's First Grade students planted the seeds at their annual Fall Festival as one of their STEAM activities, and Mrs. Toth has been kind enough to care for the seeds over the winter until the weather is warm enough for the plants to be planted outside in the Washington Garden.

Mrs. Toth showed the plants to the First Graders at the three month mark so they could see how much they have grown since they were planted as seeds.  No pumpkins yet, but they will be here soon enough!  Please click here to see some photos.
