At its April 23, 2019 Regular Meeting, the Bethel Park Board of School Directors approved a new six year collective bargaining agreement between the Bethel Park School District and the Federation Secretaries of Bethel Park, effective July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2025.

The previous agreement was set to expire June 30, 2019.  The agreement covers the 18 School District’s School Secretaries.  The contract provides for an average increase at the top of the salary scale of 2.91 percent over the life of the contract.

Effective this agreement, all full time employees will be switched to the Highmark EPO Health Plan and continue to pay 2 percent of the cost of their medical insurance.  Employees who want the option to participate in the Highmark PPO Health Plan will pay the difference in the cost between the two plans.

Following the Board vote, a Signing Ceremony was held to officially sign the new agreement.  Representing the Federation Secretaries were President Jaclyn Wilcox and Vice President Lisa Fedorowski.  Representing the District were School Board President Donna Cook, Superintendent Dr. Joseph W. Pasquerilla and Director of Finance, Operations and Human Resources Leonard Corazzi.
