Franklin Elementary School was selected by the local Office Depot store to receive $1,500 worth of school supplies, which included notebooks, folders, finger paints, tablets, pencils, pencil boxes, erasers, glue, scissors, markers, crayons and other school supplies.
Box loads of supplies were delivered to Franklin in October by Office Depot General Manager Rich Davis. Many of the delivered items were donated by Office Depot customers, who placed their donations in collection boxes set up in the store.
All of the supplies will be divided up for all Franklin classrooms to enjoy.
