"No Canaries in the Coal Mine," by BPHS senior Tatum Brown, has been chosen as one of the 23rd Annual Congressional Art Competition winners. Starting in June, Tatum's graphite drawing will be displayed in the US Capitol for a full year. Tatum's piece will represent Pennsylvania’s 12th Congressional District, including Pittsburgh, portions of Allegheny, and Westmoreland Counties.
Thank you to congresswoman Summer L. Lee, the contest's local sponsor, who helped choose the winners.
