A group of Bethel Park High School Drama students in Mr. Nagel’s classroom visited William Penn to kick off the school’s annual Accelerated Reader Program with a special program designed to help the younger students to “Feed the Need to Read.”
This clever and engaging program, written and performed by the high school students, features a variety of popular children’s book characters singing and dancing. It is updated annually and performed in Bethel Park elementary schools every year.
The elementary students look forward to the productions as well as the opportunity to interact with the characters.
This year’s production was coordinated by BPHS students Kelsey Aronhalt, Sarah Dehls and Jackson Banes.
