Four Bethel Park Elementary Students were selected as Finalists in the 2020 WQED Writers Contest and all four were among this year's winners!
Congratulations to:  
  • Lincoln Third Grader Olivia Anderson, author of "Rosita's Roses" -- STEM Award Winner
  • Lincoln Kindergarten Student Aubrey Will, author of "Jenny The Jelly Fish" -- First Place in the Kindergarten Category 
  • Washington First Grader Kendall Exler, author of "Monkeys Save the Day" -- Third Place in the First Grade Category
  • Lincoln Fourth Grader Maggie Jaglowski, author of "The Day in the Life of a Cell" -- Third Place in the Fourth Grade Category

These students were among the 27 Grade Level Finalists for the 2020 WQED/PBS Kids Writers Contest.  Their stories were selected from almost 1,000 stories submitted by students from Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland and Delaware.
