BPSD Students Participate in JA BizTown

On April 18, 2023, the fourth grade students at Benjamin Franklin Elementary School attended JA BizTown, a model town set up by Junior Achievement to help promote financial literacy. The high school's JA program participated as the younger students' mentors.

The students worked in various jobs and exchanged commerce with each other, like a real economy.

Pennsylvania Auditor General Timothy DeFoor was also on hand to meet with the students. He discussed the importance of financial literacy.
