BPHS Chapter of the Societe Honoraire de Francais Inducts 27 Students

On Wednesday, April 27, 2022, the Bethel Park High School chapter of the Société Honoraire de Français (SHF) held its annual spring induction ceremony. Twenty-seven new members were welcomed into the French NHS.
 
In order to be eligible for membership, Bethel Park French students must maintain a 90% average throughout their study of French. Also, the SHF and the French Club work closely together each year to sponsor a Haitian student. 

 This year’s inductees included Honors French II students: Devin Collier, Subbasri Dhandapani, Charlize Donaldson, Madelyn Hughes, Amber Kuss, Amelia Lancet, Lyla Walsh, Sara Walters, Kristen Weiss and Katie Yonish.  
 
 Other French II inductees were: Audrey Campbell, Martin Devine, Carly Dowell, Megan Geraud, Lucy Heckla, Jesse Huber, Tyler Kramer, Victoria Krappweis, Nicholas Krastev, Zachary Kucharik, Max LeMessurier, Kamiya Martin, Ella Sabanovic and Morgan Schmude.
 
 Olivia Dawson (Honors) and Vanessa Troxell were the French III inductees; while Honors French IV student Andrew Williams was also welcomed into the exclusive club.
 
There were 22 returning members on-hand including Arabella Cicero, Bryce Clancy, Jesse Lester, April Lucidore and Grace Skalniak – all students in the Honors French III program. Other French III returnees were Leo Devine, Cayden Lodge, Lidia Lorenzi and Margaret Pivetz. Returnees from the Honors French IV class included Leah Armstrong, Tatum Brown, Emily Ciranni, Ashley Heath, Anna Marie Lorenzi, Yingzhi Lu, Cora Martin-Farmer and Nolan Plassio. French IV student Gabrielle Shogan also returned.  
 
Rounding out the returnees were French V AP students Megan Cunningham, Oluwatoyosi Egbebi, Sadie Fedor and French Club president, Anna Rosemeier.
