Lincoln Fourth Grade students in Mrs. Eckert-Graffam’s Art classes had the opportunity to create beautiful masterpieces on canvas.
The students studied the techniques of Claude Monet and created their own moon and tree silhouettes on canvas.
The assignment not only taught the students about the nuances of shadows and light in paintings, but it also taught them the concept of reverse perspective, as the paintings were painted as if someone were looking upward through the trees to the sky.
The results were terrific!
