Students Enjoy Pop-Up Libraries

Bethel Park Elementary Students enjoyed visiting the Pop Up Libraries that appeared at all Bethel Park elementary schools on Thursday, August 10.

Bringing this fun summer activity to the students were Lincoln Librarian Denice Pazuchanics and Bethel Park Public Librarian Elaine Volpe, who brought two fun activities to the schools' playgrounds.

First, the students were able to select two books to take home and keep, courtesy of a PBS Ready to Learn grant, and second, they participated in a fun craft, where they could make a visor.

This is the third year for the Pop Up Libraries, designed to keep students reading over the summer months. Please click here to see some photos from the Pop Up Library at Washington.
