For the past several weeks, Bethel Park nurse facilitator Mrs. Eileen Wallace has taught interested staff members hands-only CPR thanks to a kit the district received from the American Heart Association.

Benjamin Franklin Elementary School fourth graders recently attended JA BizTown, a model town set up by Junior Achievement to help promote financial literacy.

Bethel Park High School held its annual Alumni Hall of Fame induction ceremony in late March by welcoming in five new members, including an accomplished musician and a former law enforcement official, NFL official, oceanographer, and dentist. 
 
NHS BPHS Welcomes Newest NHS Inductees
The Bethel Park High School Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 90 new members, including three seniors, 19 juniors and 68 sophomores, at a ceremony that was held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, in the Bethel Park High School auditorium.

One hundred and two BPHS DECA Members competed at the 2023 PA DECA State Conference, Feb. 22-24 in Hershey. Bethel Park had 37 finalists and three medallion winners. Thirty-six students qualified to participate in Orlando's DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC), April 21-26.

Hertzel PSSHL Hertzel Excels at 2022 PHSSL Competition
Lucas Hertzel, a sophomore who competes on the forensic team, recently took second place in the PHSSL (Pennsylvania High School Speech League) state competition in the Lincoln-Douglas Debate event held virtually in March.

Bethel Park's three-run first-inning proved to be enough to hold off a powerful Red Land attack, 4-2 in the state championship game at Penn State.

Rising junior, Cody Hendrych-Bondra has earned two awards from the Bethel Park German Club, including the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange scholarship, which will allow him to study in Germany.
 
Class of '21 Commencement Bethel Park High School Class of '21
BPHS's Class of 2021 graduated on June 12 during a commencement ceremony at Black Hawk Stadium. The in-person ceremony was also live-streamed.
