MISSION: To lead an educational partnership with the Community, maintaining an environment that challenges all students to reach their potential as lifelong learners and responsible members of society.

Musical

Overview

The Bethel Park High School musical is an annual rite of Spring open to students in grades 9-12. The musical, divided into two separate productions, allows students to participate in a full-scale musical. The musical for the 2022-2023 school year is The Addams Family.

Student Information

Students may participate by auditioning for an acting part in the musical or choosing to work behind-the-scenes on one of the crews doing sets, lights, sound, props, costumes, or any other number of areas needed to put on a high-quality show. Auditions are generally held the first couple of weeks in November. Crew sign-ups are done anytime. The musical rehearses from January until the production opens in the Spring.

We also need lots of parent volunteers to make the musical a success.

If you would like more information you may contact Mr. Todd Kuczawa at [email protected].  You can also track real-time changes and information, including forms, documents, calendar, and other information on the music department's Weebly page.

Bethel Park is partnering with Homestead-based eServices Technology, which has developed a more convenient way for guests to purchase tickets to the school district’s live events. All seating for The Addams Family is reserved at $10 per ticket, plus fees, and will be sold electronically through the school district’s website starting on March 1.

The electronic tickets will be sold based on availability up to and including the night of the event. As with many concerts and professional sporting events these days, no physical tickets will be sold in advance or in person at the door.

The district already employs the electronic ticketing system for its varsity sporting events. It has also used the electronic ticketing system for the Independence Middle School musical in December and multiple other district events.
