Bethel Park School District Kindergarten Registration Information

Welcome to families looking to enroll their children into Kindergarten at Bethel Park! This Kindergarten Registration page is a valuable resource for families who are new to the district as well as families who may already have children enrolled in our schools.

If you are looking to enroll a student in grades 1-12, that is a slightly different process, so please click here.

The following information will help you begin the online registration process and save time on your enrollment. After completing the online registration process, in lieu of scheduling an onsite appointment, someone from your child's new school will reach out to you.

Age Eligibility: In Pennsylvania, incoming Kindergarten students are generally five-years-old by Sept. 1 of their registration year. If your child turns five between Sept. 1 and Sept. 30 of their Kindergarten registration year, and you wish to enroll them in Bethel Park School District, please see Bethel Park School Board Policy 201 for more information regarding a Waiver of Age Attendance Requirements.

If you have not already done so, please register your student for a Kindergarten Screening on May 17, 2022 at Neil Armstrong Middle School.

Step 2: Complete the Pre-Registration Survey

Complete the Kindergarten Pre-Registration Google form ASAP.

Step 3: Gather and Submit the Appropriate Online Enrollment Documentation

You will need to complete and submit the following documents in order to register your student for Kindergarten at Bethel Park:

You will need to upload the following documents:
1. Proof of Child’s Age - birth certificate, baptismal certificate, etc
  1. Please see BP Policy 200 for additional information
2. Proof of Residency - One from each category is required:
  1. A deed, current mortgage statement, or a current lease,
  2. Current utility bill, current credit card bill, property tax bill, vehicle registration, driver’s license, or DOT identification card.

2. DOCUMENTS TO RETURN: Please either (A) Upload the following documents into the New Student

Registration Online Portal when prompted or (B) Mail or drop off the following documents to your school

Health History
Dental Form**
Speech/Language Form
Lead Testing**
Physical Exam - - includes Immunization History**
Parental Registration Form
Earned Income Tax Form (Only For Families Without a Current BP Student)

**The Dental Form, Lead Testing, and Physical Exam will need to be signed by a medical/dental professional/health care provider before you can register your student for Kindergarten.

Kindergarten Screening: May 17, 2022

If you have not already done so, please register your student for a Kindergarten screening appointment. Please choose any available time slot; you do NOT need to screen with someone at your home building.
