COVID-19 Information Hub

Bethel Park School District takes the safety and well-being of its staff, students and their families very seriously. The district has worked hard throughout the pandemic to put various safeguards in place to keep our school community safe and healthy while we educate our students with in-person learning.  As we monitor the health of our entire school community, we'll keep a close eye on the COVID-19 state and local data.  This section contains the most current information regarding COVID-19 and we encourage district families to take advantage of this resource.

Throughout the pandemic, as the various dynamics have evolved and as the infectious disease community's understanding of COVID-19 has improved, much of the guidance school districts have received has changed along with it. This section is to help families make sure that they are up-to-date on the current guidance and school procedures.

Should someone in your family begin to show some symptoms commonly associated with coronavirus, please click on the blue icon above, which will guide you through the reporting system.  Should you have any additional questions, please send them to [email protected].

COVID-19 Isolation Procedures
Updated COVID-19 Guidance, August 12, 2022
  • Students and staff with COVID-19 should remain home for at least five consecutive days and until symptoms, if present, have been gone for 24 hours. A mask should be worn for the following five days, for 10 days.

  • In order to capture the spread of COVID-19 in Allegheny County, ACHD encourages individuals to report their positive COVID home tests. Self-reports do not replace reporting done by schools but can be used by individuals to provide a clearer picture of COVID-19 in the county.

  • Individuals exposed to COVID-19 should mask and monitor for symptoms for 10 days and get tested after five days.
