* IT'S PLAYOFF TIME IN BETHEL PARK!

Congratulations to the BPHS Football Team, who are Section Champions for the second consecutive year and will play Penn Trafford in a home game in the first round of the WPIAL Playoffs on Friday, November 6 at 7:30 PM.  Tickets are on sale daily in the Athletic Office in Building 6 until 2:30 PM.  Student tickets purchased in advance are $4 and adult tickets are $6.  All tickets purchased at the game on Friday night will be $6.  Because this is a WPIAL Playoff Game, no faculty passes will be accepted.  Everyone must have a ticket to get into the game.  We encourage everyone to purchase their tickets in advance because the school benefits more from advance sale tickets.   Come out and cheer on the team as they take their first step to defend their WPIAL Championship.  Go Hawks!

* H1N1 Update--Test-confirmed cases of H1N1 (Swine Flu) have been reported at Bethel Park High School, Neil Armstrong Middle School, Lincoln Elementary, Memorial Elementary and Franklin Elementary School. Over the past two weeks, there have also been several students throughout the district who have exhibited flu-like symptoms and have been diagnosed by their doctors as having H1N1 or H1N1-like symptoms, but their conditions were not officially confirmed via laboratory testing. Please click here to read a letter to all Bethel Park families from Dr. Knight, that outlines what parents can do to help keep their children from getting/spreading H1N1 or other viruses.  If you or any member of your family experience flu-like symptoms, you are encouraged to contact your family physician.  As always, the best defense against communicable disease is proper hand washing. We ask parents to keep their children home if they are exhibiting symptoms or do not feel well.  Please click here to learn more about H1N1/Flu Tips.  Please click here to go to the Bethel Park Health Services web page.
