A long-standing Neil Armstrong Middle School tradition is the hosting of the annual Charity Carnival on the day before Winter Break.
Students spent an afternoon moving from classroom to classroom, paying to participate in a variety of carnival themed games—all in the name of raising money for worthy causes.
This year’s Carnival raised $7,153, which was given to the South Hills Interfaith Movement (SHIM) and Autism Connection of Pennsylvania.
In addition to playing the carnival games, students could also get their nails or faces painted, throw sponges topped with whipped cream at NAMS Teachers and Principal Mr. Patterson (who didn’t even cover up to protect his clothing!), dance in the disco or take a chance on numerous Chinese auction gift baskets. There was something for everyone at this year’s Carnival.
Thanks to everybody who helped to raise these funds in one fun afternoon! Please click here
