Kindergarten Students Go On A Storywalk
Miss Elaine leads Lincoln Kindergarten students on a StorywalkLincoln Kindergarten students went on a Storywalk with Miss Elaine from the Bethel Park Public Library.

A Storywalk is a literary and physical activity created to engage the community in reading children's books in unique environments.  The Storywalk the Lincoln students went on was created by Bethel Park High School freshman Macie Runco for her Girl Scout Silver Award Project.  The Storywalk is based on Cyhthia Liu's book, Bike On, Bear! and the Storywalk encourages children to exercise, read and talk.

The Storywalk was previously done with a group of Washington Elementary students and a group of pre-school students at Miner's Park.

The Storywalk is now cataloged and available for circulation at the Bethel Park Public Library and families are encouraged to check it out and set it up outdoors anywhere they'd like!
