The Bethel Park School District has partnered with Tender Care Learning Center to provide subsidized pre-school learning activities during the 2017-2018 school year to children ages 3 and 4 who might not be able to attend otherwise.

We are completing the fourth year of this partnership with Tender Care, which is made possible through a multi-year Pre-K Counts grant, which has been awarded to the Bethel Park School District.  Only the highest-rated Pennsylvania pre-school programs are permitted to partner with school districts to offer these classes free of charge to families who meet the established income guidelines.

There are currently one opening in the Full Day Class and 15 openings in the Half Day Class.

  • The Full-Day Class meets from 9:15 AM to 3:15 PM.
  • The Half-Day Class meets from 9 AM to 12 PM.
Pre-K Counts Funding is directed to middle income families who simply cannot afford the cost of pre-school.  Income guidelines are outlined in the application.  Children must be age three before September 1, 2017 to be eligible to participate.
