Twenty-five Bethel Park High School students successfully auditioned and have been selected to perform in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association’s District Chorus Concert, which will be held on January 26 at East Allegheny High School.
Singing in this concert will be seniors Natalia Antkowiak (alto 2), Kayla Dell (soprano 1), Garrett Hoffman (bass 1), Michaela Isenberg (soprano 2), Geoff McKain (tenor 1), Tyler Petrossi (tenor 1) and Sarah Russell (soprano 2).
Also singing will be juniors William Brusoski (bass 2), Zach Janus (bass 2), Abby Kauric (soprano 2), Jaden Knight (soprano 1), Abilash Krishnachand (tenor 2), Anthony Lucchitti (tenor 2), Katelyn Marcovecchio (alto 1), Brian Pauley (bass 2), Connor Remington (bass 2), Cameron Sillman (tenor 1), Julianne Stein (alto 1), Jerry Varghese (tenor 1), Evan Welsh (bass 1) and sophomores James Counihan (tenor 2), John Gummo (bass 1), Molly Hoffman (soprano 2) and Olivia Neil (soprano 1).
This year was the first time PMEA auditioned students to be accompanists for the concert, and junior Jenelle Wu was selected as the first ever student accompanist for the PMEA District Chorus Concert.
The students are taught by Bethel Park High School Choral Director Todd Kuczawa.
