Beginning with the 2012-2013 school year, the Bethel Park School District will provide transportation only to daycare centers that are located within the attendance zone of the elementary school in which the student attends.

All daycare bus runs are based on the current attendance zones of each elementary school.  The District will make every attempt to provide transportation to at least one outside daycare option per elementary building.  Additionally, before and after school programs will be provided by Lois Johnson at all Bethel Park Elementary Schools beginning with the 2012-2013 school year.

It is estimated that this plan will save the District between $30,000 and $40,000 annually.

If your child currently attends a daycare center that is outside of your elementary school attendance zone, you will need to make alternate transportation arrangements for the 2012-2013 school year.
