Two BPHS Students to Live and Study in Germany
Two Bethel Park High School Honors III German students, junior Kristy Ennis and sophomore Kevin Fleischmann, have been awarded Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Scholarships for the 2012-2013 school year.
They were chosen from a pool of nation-wide applicants, after a lengthy and rigorous selection process that included applications, essays and interviews.
They will spend the next school year living with a German family and attending a secondary school in the Federal Republic of Germany, with their expenses paid jointly by the United States and German governments.
Currently, 2011 Bethel Park High School graduate Megan Crawford is living and studying in Kaiserslautern, as a recipient of this same scholarship.
The students are taught by Bethel Park High School German Teacher Christopher Tobias.
