How much time is each family member allowed to spend online? Are there conditions when each family member can be online (i.e. after finishing homework, chores, etc.)?
• LOCATION OF COMPUTER
Keep the computer in a public place in the house, such as the living or family room, where family members can easily monitor each other's activities.
• WEB SITES
Set limits on Web sites that are okay and which are off limits. Consider software that restricts access to all Web sites.
• CHAT ROOMS
Decide which chat rooms are okay to use. Adult supervision is strongly suggested when participating in chat sessions.
