Carnival Raises $7,400 for Autism

This year's Charity Carnival raised $7,400 for Autism Speaks! The Carnival was a huge success, as students moved from room to room to participate in various activities and games.  The face/body painting room was constantly busy as was the cafeteria area, where students paid to throw a sponge topped with Cool Whip at Principals Janet O'Rourke and Gregg Paladina.  And if games weren't your cup of tea, the lobby was filled with numerous gift baskets that could be won via Chinese auction. Carnival is always a fun day at Neil!

Students really enjoyed getting holiday photos taken!

The line to get into the room for face and body painting was always long!

Don't let these next two photos fool you--eating a donut that swings on the end of a string isn't as easy as it looks!

Students enjoyed playing games of chance at the Carnival.

The cafeteria was always filled with students during Carnival.

Students enjoyed taking a good-natured shot at staff with a Cool Whip-filled sponge.
