Students Entertain at Retirement Community

A group of 12 Lincoln third and fourth graders learned how important it is to be involved with all members of the community when they volunteered to participate in a Halloween Community Service Project at the Paramount Retirement Community.  The students stayed after school one night for a practice and then they went to Paramount on October 29 to perform a skit from "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," sing some Halloween songs and told some jokes.  After the performance, the students mingled with the residents and enjoyed some cookies and punch with them.  The students had such a good time they are planning a return visit to Paramount in November.  Thanks to Librarian Mrs. Pazuchanics for coordinating this great event.
