This is the Arc de Triomphe. It was built between 1806 and 1808. It was built by Napoleon . The arc is richly decorated in rose marble, so are the columns and the front paneling. It is compose of three arches, one big one and two smaller ones. The big arch is 21 feet high and 9 feet wide. The smaller arches are 14 feet, 16 inches high and 9 feet wide. |

Disneyland is all around the world! With the success of a Disneyland in Tokyo, they decided to build a Disneyland in Paris. Castles are extremely common here. Because of this, the engineers had to make the castle in Magic Kingdom better than all of the others. When they were done building it, it was named one of the most spectacular castles ever seen.

| The Eiffel Tower was completed in 1889 for the Paris World Exhibition. It was built two years by 132 workers and 50 engineers. The tower is 324 meters high and weighs 10,100 tons. It has 1,665 steps all the way to the top. You can see 37 miles from the top, but in reality you can't because of all the buildings, mountains, and hills. The Eiffel Tower is one of the most famous buildings in world. This huge monument welcomes 5.5 million visitors each year. |

Maurice de Sully, the bishop of Paris, decided to build a new Cathedral for the expanding of the population. It was dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Construction of this started in 1163. It wasn’t done being constructed 180 years later. This Cathedral retells a story of the Bible in its pictures, paintings, and stained glass.
