NBA Basketball

The first team is the Boston Celtics. They are the best team in the NBA this year so far. They are one the first teams to be successful when carrying three superstars. Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce are the main reason for their success. And with Rajon Rondo and Kendrick Perkins rounding out the starting lineup they have had great chemistry and had great success.

Next, is the Detroit Pistons. They have been of the most successful teams of this decade. They are probably the second or third best team up there with the Celtics. They have stars such as Chauncey Billups, Richard Hamilton, and Rasheed Wallace. They used to be greatly known for their defense but with new coach Flip Saunders they have blossomed into a great offensive team.

Now, is the Phoenix Suns. They have also been a great team of this decade but have not been able to put it all together and win a championship. Their main reason for success is Steve Nash, the best point guard in the league. They have two other stars. Shawn Marion and Amare Stoudemire. Boris Diaw and Raja Bell are the other two in the starting five. Bell is a great defender and Diaw is an al around player. The Suns will continue to be great with these players.

Next, is the New Orleans Hornets. This is their first good season for quite a while. The reason for their success is point guard Chris Paul. He is young but the taken the load of carrying this team. He can shoot, pass, and play defense. He’s the whole package. They have the big man Tyson Chandler to hold out on the boards and Peja Stojakovic to drain threes. They have a great combination and wanted to succeed.

Now, is the Dallas Mavericks. They have been very good in the regular season but have choked in the post season. Dirk Nowitzki is a big man with a great outside touch. They have a good point guard in Devin Harris and another good shooter in Jason Terry. If they pull it together in the playoffs they can win championships.

Lastly, is the Orlando Magic. They have haven been at the basement of the league until this year. Their big man Dwight Howard is dominating other big men. They also have and amazing shooter in J.J. Redick and a good point guard in Jameer Nelson. And finally, a good swingman and new acquisition, Rashard Lewis. This team could make a run and I think win a championship.
