NBA Basketball

LeBron James is the best player in the NBA.  He was the #1 pick in the 2003 draft and last year led the Cavs single-handedly to the NBA Finals.  Although he’s such a great scorer, he is very unselfish and passes well too.  He is a well rounded player and one of the best ever.

Kobe Bryant had been the best player in the NBA for a while and now LeBron is challenging him for it.  He’s the best pure scorer and is the 2nd for the most points in a game with 81 points in a single game.  Sometimes teams don’t even score 81 points in a game.

Dwayne Wade is again a very elite player in the league.  He is a great penetrator and passer but not a very good outside shooter.  He led his team to the NBA Finals 2 years ago.  His nickname is “Flash” because of his lighting quick speed.  He was another top draftee of 2003 like LeBron.  He will be a great player for years to come.
Steve Nash is the single best point guard in the league.  He’s an absolutely amazing passer.  Also, he can take it to the hoop and score and if you back off him he will drain threes on you all night.  He is almost an impossible force to stop

Chris Paul is a young point guard similar to Steve Nash.  He can pass and score.  He can drive or make it rain from the outside.  He probably is also the best in the league at limiting turnovers.  He is revolutionizing the point guard position and will be a superstar for years and years.

Dwight Howard is a young big man and becoming the best center in the league.  He is also revolutionizing his position with his monster rebounding and powerful dunks.  He is the center piece of the Orlando Magic who is now coming to the top of title contention.  If they and him keep playing like their playing they will win the title.
Gilbert Arenas is one of the best pure scorers in the NBA. He went from a benchwarmer to a star.  Or “Zero to Hero”.  He is currently injured which is hurting his team significantly.  Without him they have no chance at the playoffs.
Carmelo Anthony is another great scorer who has to share the wealth with the other star on the team, Allen Iverson.  Like Wade and LeBron, he is a top draftee of the 2003 draft.  He is a great penetrator and an average outside shooter.  He is just starting to reach his potential as he wasn’t as good and mature in his early years
