       Michael Jordan was drafted by the Chicago Bulls with the second overall pick during the 1984 draft. During his rookie year, the Bulls went 38-44. Jordan averaged 28.2 points per game. The next season Jordan broke his foot. With Jordan hurt, the Bulls record fell to 30-52.
       During the 1986-87 season, the Bulls record climbed to 40-42. Jordan led the way, with a league leading 37.1 points per game. During the offseason the Bulls hired Phil Jackson as an assistant coach. With Jackson as part of the staff, the Bulls record climbed to 50-32. The bulls advanced to the second round of the playoff before losing. Jordan led the way averaging 35 points per game.  
       During the 1988-89 season, Jordan averaged 32.5 points per game, and the Bulls advanced to the third round of the playoffs. Phil Jackson was hired as the head coach during the offseason. During Jackson first year, the Bulls advanced to the third round of the playoffs. Jordan averaged 33.6 points per game.
       During the 1990-91 season, the Bulls finished 61-21. They won their franchises first NBA championship. Jordan won the finals MVP. The next season Jordan averaged 31.5 points per game. The Bulls finished a league best 67-15. They won their second straight NBA championship. Jordan won the finals MVP again.
       During the 1992-93 season, the Bulls were looking to win their third straight NBA title while the rest of league tried to stop them. Jordan averaged 30.1 points per game and the Bulls finished 57-25. They won their third straight NBA championship and Jordan won his third straight finals MVP. One month later Michael Jordan’s father was murdered. He was so devastated that he retired.
       With the Bulls struggling in 1994, Jordan decided to play baseball. He joined the Chicago White Socks to play in the minor leagues. After a short time Jordan missed basketball to much, and rejoined the Bulls on March eighteenth, 1995. The Bulls finished the regular season strong, and finished 47-35. They lost in the second round of the playoffs
 

     During the 1995-96 season, Jordan averaged 30.4 points per game. The Bulls acquired Dennis Rodman. They finished 72-10, breaking the record for the best season ever. They won their fourth NBA championship and Jordan won his fourth finals MVP. In the 1996-96 season the Bulls finished 69-13. They reached the NBA finals. Jordan hit a buzzer beater to win game one, and Steve Karr hit a buzzer beater to win game six. They won their fifth NBA championship and Jordan won his fifth finals MVP.

 

       The Bulls started the 1996-97 season slowly, but Jordan carried them to a 62-20 record. They reached another NBA championship. In game six, Jordan hit a three pointer to win the game and championship. Jordan won his sixth finals MVP and the Bulls completed their second three-peat. Jordan retired at the end of the year. Phil Jackson was not resigned so all the Bull’s players left. Their dynasty came to an end.
