The Video game, Halo 3, takes place in the year 2552. Humanity is going to war with an alien civilization called the covenant. The covenant lives on world like, manmade structures called Halos that are actually bombs. They are going to war because the covenant has a plan to fire the halos so that they will achieve eternal glory. The halos would blow up the galaxy. The human army is led by Spartan 117(Master Chief), the last of the super soldiers. There is another enemy called the flood. The Flood attacks by finishing the enemy and turning them on each other. The elites were on the covenant’s side but then turned on them because of religious reasons.
