Elvis's career was very long.  He had many Recording companies.  One of his most famouse is the Son Records. Son Records did many of his hit songs.  They were with Elvis for a very long time and they payed Elvis the most out of all of his companies.
		Sam phillips worked as an announcer and engineer at a radio station.  He helped elvis grow and become very big.  Elvis was on the radio a lot.  He was on the radio all the time around the country for singing and talking.  Fans of Elvis just loved to hear his voice.
		Nineteen fifty-six is the year Elvis became huge.  On Elvis's 21st birthday Colonel Tom Parker drafted a new management contract granting himself 25 percent of Presley's earnings making himself personal repre sentative and manager.
		In 1957, Elvis starred in two movies.  One is Loving You in which Elvis recieved his first screen kiss.  And Jailhouse Rock, which is reconized as the best film ever made.  Loving You was a very romantic film.  Jailhouse Rock is agrity black and white movie which Presley played a rebellious prison inmate Vince Everett.
		Elvis played in another movie called Girls Girls Girls.  Elvis wouldn't play in any other films that made him less perfect.  Also he had many tv shows he played in.  One of them is called the Flaming Star.  It had four songs a script.  All of them he got girls and more girls.
		Elvis had starred in many dating movies.  Drive in movies ran double for the movies.  The movies made the ideal background for teenage couples hugging and kissing in their cars.  All of his music in the movies was fun or romantic.  By 1965, 17 of his films had achieved a gross of between 125 million and 135 million dollars.
