Stunts

An extension is done when the top girl also known as the flier or mounter first assumes the squish position. That is when the top girl bends the knees and holds onto her base’s shoulders. The bases then have each foot. When the back spotter counts it out, they lift the top girl and extends their arms over their head. The top girl locks her knees and puts her arms in a high V position.

A full down is an advanced dismount from an extension. The bases and back spot do the same as they would do for a regular cradle. The flyer, when popped, pulls her arms to her left or right hip causing her to do a full twist. Once the flyer has spun the whole way around, she snaps into a pike. You have to have a lot of power and you need to spin quickly.

To do a liberty, the main base holds the flyers foot on the heel and the tow. The left base holds the flyers foot, in the middle, and the flyers ankle. The flyer pushes off the bases shoulders and goes up on one foot. She pulls the other foot into the side of her knee. The flyer needs to be tight. The top girl never wants to look down.
