Tohru is the main character from the beginning.  She is living in the forest when the sohma family takes her in.  Soon she discovers the somha’s horrid curse and is sworn to secrecy or to get her mind erased.  She is a very strong girl and wants nothing more to help the people around her.

Next comes Kagura. She is quite a character.  She has loved Kyo since she was about 4 years old. She is two years older than him and shows her love by fighting with him. (He usually loses.)  Even though she does this and Kyo says he hates her, she will stop at nothing to be with him, and yes you guessed it she is the boar!

Now if you saw Momiji and did not know anything about him you would think he was gay. He just has a special way of presenting himself. He is the bunny or rabbet of the zodiac. You may think he is cool but he has had a hard life. His mother rejected his other form altogether and had her memories suppressed. He sees her all the time but she doesn’t know its him. He has to live knowing he cant get close to his mother or his sister Momo.

Hatori is awesome, and he is the dragon, or sea horse. He is a dark kind of person but is great once you get to know him. He, Sigure, and Ayame are BFF’s even though he likes to deny it. Now something interesting my favorite thing from him is a question, “What dose snow become when it melts?”Think about it and I’ll tell you the answer after Kyoko’s entry.   

Ayame is the type of person you would not want around for long. He is the snake and is very “interesting”. If you get to know him that is. He is Yukis older brother and Yuki wants nothing to do with him. Yukis parents sold him to the head of the family when he was very young and Ayme never saw him. Now Ayame will stop at nothing to win over his little brother.

Kisa is a kind little girl and the first time you see her is she is under a curse of the mind. People at school are making fun of her and she decided not to talk. Once she does start talking again she is a sweet girl and gets so attached to Tohru it’s a little wird. She also loves Haru like a big brother, (the tiger and the ox). AWWWWWW!!!!!!=) =D

Hiro is the lamb and he really likes Kisa. When Kisa gets so attached to Tohru he gets kind of jealous. He wants to spend time with her but all she wants to do is hang out with tohru. Hiro is very sarcastic and he can be mean, like really mean if he doesn’t know you, or knows very little about you.

Ritsu Sohma, well first off all he is the monkey of the zodiac, and yes I said HE. Even though Ritsu looks like a girl that’s just how he dresses because he is very insecure about himself. Ritsu thinks everything he does is wrong and he apologizes ever time he does something. He is a very hard person to get to know but Tohru is still trying to help him.

Isuzu is the horse of the zodiac. She is strong and fierce and for some reason she does not like Tohru. She wants nothing more than to be with Haru and to break the curse. Ren has a strong spirit but at times people think she is very weak. When she was young she got pushed out of a window by the head of the family and that has affected her dramatically.

 Kureno is very quiet and as you can imagine he is the bird. Kureno doesn’t come up much and the head of the family (Akito), and will not let him be near any of the other members of the zodiac. Kureno is one person you do not want to miss.

Akito….. I could say so much about Akito but I’ll keep it short. Akito is the head of the family. He is very rued and mean, but you will find out there is a lot to Akito that even the whole family doesn’t know. Perhaps who he really is eh.

Arisa is one you don’t want to mess with. She used to be in a gang and carries around a lead pole with her pretty much everywhere she goes. She is inspired to be like Tohrus mom but when she dies Uotani gives everything she has left to make shore Tohru doesn’t get to any harm.

Saki Hana Jima is the other one of Tohrus friends, and even though she looks dark and can feal the waves you are sending she is a very thoughtful girl. Hana Jima has been though all kinds of emotional things and can help out when she needs to.

And last but defiantly not least Kyoko Honda. You could probably guess she is Tohrus Mother. She once was the leader of a gang and her name was the legendary red butterfly. Mainly because she rode her bike so fast and in a way that made her look like a butterfly. When Tohru came along she gave all that up and then the day Tohru forgot to say goodbye she was in a car crash. Oh, and by the way the answer to Hatoris question, it becomes spring. =O amazing!!!
