Third base is usually a position for the slower and less agile player that is not the case for Wade Boggs. He is one of the best and most respected third baseman there is. He is a star player for the Boston Red Sox He was in the top ten fielders in the MLB. He is a stunning young athlete that quickly made has way to the top. He hold the current homerun record for a single season.

 

 

 Sean Casey is the first baseman for the Red Sox. He is one of the better batters in baseball. But he says he may be a homerun hitter but he always practices first baseman because it is hard to get an out if your first baseman doesn’t know what he is doing.

 

                             
                         

Dontrelle Willis is a pitcher for the Florida Mariners. Pitchers are usually only good for pitching this means nothing to Dontrelle. He is one of the few pitchers that hold a average batting average. Since pitching is the hardest position there are only na select few that can do it. Dontrelle says that if he were to play any position on the field it would be pitching even if it is the most stressful position because the whole game can ride on every pitch.

 
 

Rafael Furcal Plays for the Atlanta Braves He plays shortstop and got the rookie of the year award. He tied the record for three triples in one game. He was voted the most valuable player in 2002. he started his career with the Braves in 2000.

 
                             
              

Roberto Almar Plays 2nd base for the Mets. He made the honor roll in 2004. He also won the golden glove award in 2002. He was viewed as one of the finest players to ever play 2nd base. He has been playing since1988. He also won a silver slugger award for 2nd baseman.

 
 

Keith Osik plays for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was there catcher. He played for over ten years. He was voted one of the top catchers in the league in 2002. He was the only player in 100 years to hit a homerun and let up a gopher ball in the same game.
