The trucks are the axels that hold the wheels on the skateboard. They are made up of a hanger, base plate, bushings, pivot cups, axel nuts, and a kingpin. There are many different brands such as Independent, Silver, Grind King, Tensor, Destructo, and Royal. They come in basically any color and the hanger can be a different color than the base plate. Some pros have a pro truck out.

Bearing are small in size but play an important role in the skateboard. Bearings are what make the wheels roll long and smooth. They are all one size because the holes they go in where they go in the wheels are all the same. They don’t take any tools to install in the wheels and range significantly in price from $10-$100. The to most known brands of bearings are Bones and Lucky.

Griptape is what keeps your feet from slipping off the board. It is generally black but comes in a variety of colors, even clear. Different brands of griptape have all different sizes of grit (the sand) so each person who buys it can get the kind they like. The best brand of griptape in my opinion is Black Magic.
