Ryan Smith is a pro skater that skates for Mystery, Independent, and DC Shoes. He is said to be the best skater at grinds and slides on rails and ledges. He has starred in many skate videos such as Zero-“Dying to Live”, Mystery-“Black & White”, and DC-“The DC Video”. He has out pro model shoes, boards, and wheels.

Dustin Dollin is a professional skateboarder from Australia. He is currently sponsored by Volcolm, Independent, Baker, Vans, and Spitfire. The last video he was in was Baker 3. He has two pro shoes out and they are the Vans No Skool and the DD-66’s. He has a new shoe coming out sometime in 2008 which are the sequel to the No Skool called the No Skool 2’s.

Rodney Mullen was one of the first skateboarders around. He is still considered on of the most creative and influential skaters around. His sponsors are Almost, Enjoi, Darkstar, Tensor, Speed Demons, Matix, and Globe and he created World Indusries. He invented over 60 tricks which include flip tricks, flatland tricks, spin tricks, and grind/slide tricks. He only lost one contest in his life.

Tony Hawk is and probably always will be the worlds most known skater. He was one of the first vert skaters. A vert skater is someone that skates on a vertical ramp called a half-pipe. He skates for and owns birdhouse skateboards. He also owns Hawk Skateboards which also make clothes and shoes. Another thing is he has a series of video games out which are Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1-4, Tony Hawk’s Underground 1-2, Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland, Tony Hawk’s Project 8 and, Tony Hawk’s Proving Grounds. He has won many contests and is well known for completing the first 900. |
